🐤 Product Nuggets #24 — Can/should we have relationships with A.I.?
Jacob's top 5 product tweets from the past week
If you missed it on Tuesday, I wrote about my experience building an iOS app from scratch using ChatGPT Pro (GPT-4). It’s a short read and an interesting look at just how good AI is getting.
🐤 Nug #1 — This is sweet… but also…
I’m so curious about this… what are your thoughts on the moral, ethical, spiritual, and emotional implications of having a relationship (even a friendship) with an AI?
🐤 Nug #2 — Getting closer to “Her”
We are getting closer to “Her” (part 2!)
Conversationally do anything with emails, using LLM chaining & few-shot prompting for tool use (@LangChainAI inspired)
This is now realtime (ish), thanks to #OpenAI gpt-3.5-turbo

🐤 Nug #3 — Personal Trainer AI
.@m_ashcroft has been beating the pants off of me in chess, so I loaded an archive of our games into GPT-4 and asked it to devise a training plan
🐤 Nug #4 — So interesting to see how folks format a long-form prompt
there are always mistakes. in the above i had to fix package.json (add type: module & add missing package)
for this to be a viable product, the pipeline has to attempt running the app & test endpoints so errors can be fed back into secondary prompts & fixed
full prompt:
🐤 Nug #5 — It’s all happening so fast!
ChatGPT casually dropped an APP STORE 🤯
It can now:
- browse the web (RIP Bing waitlist, cutoff)
- write and run Python (RIP replit?)
- access org info (RIP docsearch startups)
- add third party plugins from OpenTable, Wolfram, Instacart, Zapier, etc)
- developer SDK in preview
🐤 Bonus Nug #6 — 😂
I’d love to use GPT-4. But I’m STUCK in newbie mode. Too bad there’s no content to show me the 10 BEST PROMPTS that would BLOW MY MIND.
Hope that gave you a little inspiration and a reason to smile - now go enjoy your weekend :)
