Fantastic thread from Nathan on product positioning. Even if a product does SO much more than this one thing, sometimes it’s the “one thing” that’s the hook. In Substack’s case, they were more than just a “newsletter platform” but “paid publishing platform” just wasn’t connecting with people in the right way.
