🔮 Roundups #41
Fusion by-product as medicine, NASA's A.I. model for earth observation data, 3D rocket printers and coliving cabins in nature.
Every Friday I round up 5 technological advancements that give us a Glimpse into the future 🔮 After all, the future is already here, it’s just not evenly distributed.
This week on The Glimpse
If you missed it on Tuesday, I wrote about how scientists have figured out a way to “reprogram” cancer cells to self-destruct using a natural cell pruning process called apoptosis. It’s a fascinating glimpse into the future of cancer therapies!
🔮 Glimpse #1 — First Light’s inertial fusion reaction could also produce cancer treatments as a by-product without any impact on energy
If you’re curious about nuclear fusion and the energy abundant future companies like First Light are trying to build, read my article on Helion. The future is bright!
🔮 Glimpse #2 — CabinDAO introduces Cabin Weeks as a pilot for their coliving network
🔮 Glimpse #3 — NASA teamed up with IBM to release an AI model of their 250,000 terabytes of satellite data
Welcome to The Glimpse
Join thousands of leaders from companies like Nike, Google, Uber, Coinbase, Twitter and Venmo as we learn how to build the future.
🔮 Glimpse #4 — 3D printers for rockets
This one’s a bit of a throwback Tweet but this sort of thing really does give you a cool glimpse of the future. This is Relativity Space’s full-sized 3D printer that they use to literally print rockets that they send into space. Check out my article on Relativity if that sort of thing gets your blood pumping like it does mine!
🔮 Glimpse #5 — Hard tech is back baby
Hope that gave you a little inspiration and wonder as you head into the weekend :)
